Pepper ( is building India’s largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals, and 40+ global languages. Over the past 3.5 years, we’ve worked with brands like Adobe, upGrad, Swiggy, Dunzo, BusinessWorld, Digit,, Rapido, BookMyShow, UrbanClap, Yatra, Bewakoof, YourStory, Bharat Matrimony, and 1000+ other brands. We have over 45,000+ writers and graphic designers who have applied to Pepper so far, who form part of the ‘Pepper Cloud’.


We are on the path to building a global on-demand content marketplace platform that allows for collaboration, discovery and upskilling for all our creators. Now we are in a rapid expansion phase to enter into more content service offerings, engage a wide spectrum of content creators and at the same time, scale up our existing services. 


The Creator Acquisition Lead will be a key stakeholder in building the largest ecosystem of content creators across the globe for different verticals such as text, language, and design, etc. The individual will predominantly work on building a very robust pipeline for creators at Pepper to meet business demand. Primary responsibilities will include managing business requisitions for creators along with planning and execution of various initiatives/ campaigns for their acquisition. The ideal candidate will have some business development experience, good business acumen, managerial experience, problem-solving skills, and a hustling character!


The individual will report to the Director of Supply. It is a full-time position based out of Mumbai.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Meeting overall business demands as 3 months, 6 months, and 12-month direct acquisition plans across different categories

  • Managing a team who will own the end-to-end own lead journey of creator onboarding on the platform

  • Using an analytical approach to determine which channels are suitable acquisition point for different industries and verticals

  • Meeting tactical demands that might arise from business through a direct sales approach

  • Building an agency network that allows Pepper to have micro-agencies, agencies act as its supply for complex and high-volume work

  • Bringing more structure into daily reporting of all acquisition efforts being made through a direct sales approach

  • Drive continuous improvement by proactive actioning on the feedback and data points to improve the quality and conversion of lead sources

  • Identify and communicate new opportunities beyond what is already chartered

  • Plan and execute special projects for improving impact and efficiency of direct sales model


The ideal candidate must have -

  • Prior work experience of 3-5 years

  • Looking for a problem solver who can build processes and improve the efficiency of efforts

  • Individuals with category management/ Program Manager and Founders’ Office experience should apply

  • People with prior experience of running special projects on the acquisition/ sales side of things

  • Analytical thought process with a data-driven approach to problem-solving

  • Strong experience in managing highly fluid work environments and managing multiple projects at the same time.
