Pepper ( is building India’s largest content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 10 content verticals and 150+ content categories, 40+ content verticals, and 40+ global languages. Over the past 3 years, we’ve worked with brands like Adobe, upGrad, Swiggy, Dunzo, BusinessWorld, Digit,, Rapido, BookMyShow, UrbanClap, Yatra, Bewakoof, YourStory, Bharat Matrimony, and 300+ other brands. We have over 30,000+ writers and graphic designers who have applied to Pepper so far, who form part of the ‘Pepper Cloud’.


We are on the path to building a global on-demand content marketplace platform that allows for collaboration, discovery, and upskilling for all our creators. Now we are in a rapid expansion phase to enter into more content service offerings, engage a wide spectrum of content creators and at the same time, scale up our existing services.

  • Driving the recruitment strategy for hiring technical and non-technical talent

  • Collaborating with business and technical teams to understand hiring requirements

  • Developing and planning recruiting strategies around sourcing, interviewing, and on boarding

  • Working with external vendors and agencies, and internal teams to build a credible talent pipeline

  • Acting as Pepper’s brand ambassador across social platforms to attract talent from the industry

  • Initiating and driving projects from time to time to optimise the recruitment process




  • 5 to 10 years of experience in sourcing, engaging and recruiting talent in a time bound manner

  • Strong strategic lens & experience of scaling startups from Series A to Series B stage (hiring from 50 people to 200 people). Should have worked directly with founders

  • Nuanced understanding of different roles in the industry along with an appreciation of a high performance culture and of best hiring practices

  • Natural storyteller with an ability to communicate the vision of Pepper succinctly

  • Ability to understand and evaluate candidates beyond their work profile and to engage candidates through the recruitment process

  • Can build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

  • Great negotiation skills

  • Deep understanding of how social media can be used as a means for hiring
